FEATURES
The use of GYP-DECKMATE™ II RE-ROOF PANELS eliminates time consuming gypsum pours and finishing plus the installation of reinforcing mesh. Using the panels enables your crew to cover each section quickly as it is opened, creating a safe working environment. The use of mechanical fasteners provides uplift resistance. AVERAGE SAVINGS OF $15.00 / S.F.
CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURE
| 1. | Remove deteriorated gypsum slabs between bulb tees and joists. |
| 2. | Place GYP-DECKMATE™ II panels into opening between tees. |
| 3. | If joist spacings exceed 48", field cut short anels to butt against the 48" panels and to bear on the joists. Use white closure tees to cover butt joints, and to provide bearing for the four (4) sides of the panels. |
| 4. | Grout edge gaps along lines of tees and joists. |
| 5. | Re-roof over GYP-DECKMATE™ panels, using your choice of roofing membrane. |
