Roofing Contractors are quoting between $10 and $15/s.f. to install them. Including:
| 1. | Removal of the deteriorated poured gypsum slab. |
| 2. | Installing the panels between the existing bulb tees and the new proprietary bulb cross tees. |
| 3. | Grouting around the bulb tees and the cross tees. |
| 4. | Attaching a base sheet to the O.S.B. |
NO LEAKY WATER HOSE ON ROOF - NO WAITING FOR GYPSUM TO SET AND HARDEN. REPLACING GYPSUM SLABS BY RE-POURING THEM MANUALLY CAN CREATE SAFETY OR MILDEW PROBLEMS. IF YOU DO NOT MARK "DANGER - DO NOT STEP" ON THE GYPSUM BOARD, SERIOUS ACCIDENTS MAY OCCUR.
GYPSUM FORMBOARD WITHOUT MILDEW INHIBITOR ENCOURAGES UNSIGHTLY MILDEW FORMATION. PLACING GYPSUM BOARD AND LOOSELY OVERLAYING IT WITH PLYWOOD OR TECTUM® CAN RESULT IN FORMBOARD "FALL OUT" (GRAVITY OR ROOFING LEAKS).
TO COUNTER THESE POTENTIAL PROBLEMS, WE URGE YOU TO USE FACTORY LAMINATED, DRY GYP-DECKMATE™ PANELS FOR EITHER STANDARD OR INCOMBUSTIBLE BUILDINGS.
