THE VERSAROOF® SYSTEM (FIRE RETARDANT)
If your clients are having trouble with failing LOADMASTER or other STEEL DECKING SYSTEMS, our PATENTED VERSAROOF® RE-ROOFING SYSTEM is a cost-effective solution to their problem.
This System by-passes the removal of the "old" steel deck. Essentially, it converts the deck to a ceiling only.
| RE-ROOFING PROCEDURE | |
| 1. | Remove roofing and insulation. |
| 2. | Leave metal deck in place. |
| 3. | Space bearing plates on the metal deck at 24" o.c. |
| 4. | Fasten the bearing plates through the existing deck into the joists. |
| 5. | Place steel TRI-COM® ZEES on the bearing plates. |
| 6. | Fasten the zees at 24" o.c. into the bearing plates. |
| 7. | Place non-combustable insulation on the "old" deck between the zees. |
| 8. | Fasten 5/8" x 48" x 96" DRICON® plywood to the TRI-COM® ZEES. |
| 9. | Apply roof covering to the DRICON® plywood. |
